Elyse Rosen is a Graduate Assistant for Leadership and Civic Engagement Initiatives. Her work includes planning the annual Leadership Conference, working with members of President’s 64, and planning the Diversity in Action series of events. Whether it’s the small scale events or larger scale projects, Elyse enjoys getting to know her students and recognizing all of the hard work they have accomplished throughout the year as valued leaders at NSU.
Elyse is originally from Pennsylvania, but moved to Florida when she first began her undergraduate career. She graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Bachelor’s degree in Theater with an emphasis in Musical Theater, where she spent a lot of time involved in Campus Life, Greek Life, and the Department of Performing and Visual Arts.
In her spare time, Elyse can be found singing, reading, baking sweet treats for her friends, and yelling at sports on TV. She is currently pursuing her Masters in the College Student Affairs Program and hopes to one day make an impact on students’ lives just as her supervisors and past Graduate Assistants did for her in her undergraduate career.
