Solly-Ann is the Research Laboratory Technician for the Cell Therapy Core Facility at NSU’s Center for Collaborative Research (CCR). She is responsible for dissociating tumors, maintaining cell cultures, PBMC isolations, preparing tissue sections and providing support for virus production. Her prior work experience includes the study of the Lethal Yellowing Phytoplasma in Cocos nucifera and providing disease surveillance for countries in the Caribbean. Solly-Ann holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of the West Indies, where she has also worked with postgraduate students to identify the geminiviruses associated with Lypersicon esculentum in Jamaica.
