28 Scholastic Art Award Winners PARTING SHOT Approximately 100 works of art and writing by NSU University School students were named regional winners of the 2018 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, the nation’s longest-running and most prestigious recognition program for creative teens in grades 7–12. Submissions were evaluated by luminaries in the visual and literary arts who looked for works that best exemplified originality, technical skill, and the emergence of a personal voice or vision.
