Peace and Conflict Studies Volume 21, Number 1 2 Issue Authors Yuval Benziman is a lecturer on conflict research in the Tel-Aviv University and in the Israeli Interdisciplinary Center (IDC). His research interests include the relations between fictional texts and perceptions of conflict, the manifestation of the Israeli-Arab conflict in Israeli films and novels, and the competing narratives in the Israeli-Arab conflict. Two of his recent articles look at how the Israeli-Lebanon conflict is presented in Israeli films. Email : yuval.benziman@gmail.com Christine Smith Ellison is a specialist in education, conflict and international development and Research Associate at the UNESCO Centre, University of Ulster. She undertakes independent research in the area of conflict sensitive policy and education reform processes and aid effectiveness in conflict-affected states. She has also contributed to policy oriented research for a range of donors in the field of youth, education and fragility including GIZ, UNICEF and UNESCO-International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP). She has an MPhil in International Development from the University of Oxford, a first class degree in Anthropology and French from the University of Glasgow and is fluent in French and Spanish. Email : c.smithellison@ulster.ac.uk Jacqueline N. Font-Guzmán is Associate Professor at The Werner Institute, Creighton University School of Law, Omaha, Nebraska. She has an M.H.A. from Saint Louis University, a J.D summa cum laude from Interamericana University Law School in Puerto Rico, and a Ph.D. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from Nova Southeastern University. Jacqueline is a Fulbright scholar and her research interests are: conflict engagement in healthcare, cross-cultural perspectives in conflict engagement, relationship between culture and oppression, role of history and memory in conflict, construction of citizenship and identity, gender theories, pedagogy of online teaching, connection between conflict theory and practice, and qualitative research methodologies.
