2011 NSU Research and Technology Transfer Brochure

The future of research at the university includes the addition of a 208,000-square-foot Center for Collaborative Research (CCR) building, and America’s largest coral reef research center, the 86,000-square-foot Center of Excellence for Coral Reef Ecosystems Science research facility at NSU’s Oceanographic Center. The Center for Collaborative Research will include wet-lab research facilities and will be a home base for applied health care research and medical informatics. Researchers will collaborate within this advanced environment to investigate areas such as pharmaceutical synthesis, cancer therapy, adult stem cell research, biomaterials, wildlife DNA forensics, and ocean microbiology. Located just east of NSU’s Health Professions Division (HPD), the CCR will be home to OUR COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE
