EMPLOYMENT SUCCESS Nearly 90 percent of 2014 graduates had employment within nine months of graduation. National Jurist magazine places Shepard Broad College of Law ninth nationally and second in Florida for “Small Law” placement. BAR PREPARATION National Jurist magazine places NSU in the top five for bar passage performance when calculated as a function of entering class statistics and state bar passage rates. OPPORTUNITIES Shepard Broad College of Law has more than 25 active student-led organizations and 35 competition teams. INTERDISCIPLINARY EDUCATION Seven dual-degree programs are available such as J.D./M.B.A. and J.D./M.I.B.A. in business administration, J.D./D.O. in medicine, and J.D./M.S. in Computer and Information Sciences. Shepard Broad College of Law is 1 of 16 graduate and professional schools at NSU, the largest private, not-for-profit institution of higher education in the state of Florida, allowing law students to take courses in a variety of subjects. GLOBAL PARTNERSHIPS NSU offers a variety of international programs including two dual J.D. equivalent programs in Spain and Italy; one dual LL.M. program in the Czech Republic; three semester exchange programs in Spain, Italy, and the Czech Republic; and four study abroad programs in The Hague, Spain, South Korea, and England.
