POTENTIAL IS REALIZED HERE Unique in its mission and focus, Nova Southeastern University’s Mailman Segal Center for Human Development is one of the nation’s largest and most highly respected, comprehensive early childhood demonstration and training facilities. All children deserve a strong foundation that will produce positive outcomes for their futures. MSC showcases best practices in the fields of early childhood education, autism, family support, and parenting education—achieving its mission through educational and clinical services for families and children, training and academic programs for students and professionals in their fields of study and practice, research, community outreach programs, and advocacy. The integration of our programs within NSU’s wider community of higher education supports our commitment to quality program delivery and positions MSC to embrace future trends and advanced study. Donor support for research will allow us to develop and evaluate best practices in the field and to disseminate our findings to the professional community. Scholarship funding can enable persons with autism and related disorders to participate in early intervention services for children and programs for young adults.
