The Anxiety Treatment Center is dedicated to providing specialized, evidenced-based treatments for children, adolescents, and adults with the following conditions: About The Clinic Lindsay M. Stewart, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Florida. She completed her doctoral training and predoctoral internship at Nova Southeastern University. She then completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Miami Child and Adolescent Mood and Anxiety Treatment Program. A collaborative effort, CBT has been scientifically tested and found to be helpful in treating a range of disorders. You and your therapist will work together to determine the goals of therapy, the agenda for each session, and how long to continue therapy. Your therapist will not only teach you skills, but coach you on how to use them outside the session. You will learn how to tolerate anxiety, face anxiety-provoking situations, identify and challenge distorted thinking, and modify beliefs or behaviors that support your anxiety. Therapy usually consists of two evaluation sessions, followed by weekly, individual sessions. If needed, sessions may be conducted more frequently, and family members and significant others may be included at the client’s request. The Clinic The Nova Southeastern University Psychology Services Center is a state-of-the-art facility where providers are supervised by highly qualified, licensed professionals in their fields. Fees The Psychology Services Center is a fee-for-service facility that provides services at affordable rates.
