It began as a small charter class with visionaries initiating revolutionary ideas in the pharmacy profession. Thanks to the support and involvement of many, the college has reached many pioneering milestones in 30 short years. The SharksRx Alumni Society was established to help support the college through the knowledge, skills, and financial resources needed to invest in the future of pharmacy education. To this end, the society’s first and most critical goal involves helping grow student scholarship opportunities. The society is seeking contributions to NSU for an endowed fund called the SharksRx Alumni Society Legacy Fund. The fund’s earnings will be used to award scholarships to students in the College of Pharmacy in perpetuity. The NSU threshold for specifically named endowed funds such as these is $25,000. Any contributions made through a pledge, to be paid over a period of five years, will be counted toward reaching the $25,000 goal. Distributions from the endowment, however, won’t be made until the full $25,000 is received. Alumni Society ✁
