Dr. Carrasco has also been the recipient of several awards during this time. These include the FOTA Award of Excellence, 2013 for longstanding and significant contributions to the ad- vancement of occupational therapy and FOTA in Florida; UP CAMP Big 50 Award, 2012, one of 50 selected outstanding alumni of the University of the Philippines College of Allied Medical Professions; and Administrator of the Year, 2015, Finalist for the annual Student Life Achieve- ment Awards. Dr. D’Amico: 2014-2016 During her time here Dr. D’Amico completed her service as an Associate Editor, Editorial Re- view Board, American Journal of Occupational Therapy 2009 to June 30, 2016. She continues to review articles for the American Journal of Occupational Therapy-2005- to date, and the British Journal of Occupational Therapy. In November 2015, she became the Associate Editor for OCCUPATION, located in NSUworks 2015 to date. She has become the Director of Professional De- velopment in the OTD Program as well. Dr. D’Amico’s scholarship during this time includes several collaborative presentations at AOTA and a number of article and chapter publications. In April of 2015 Dr. D’Amico received the honor of becoming a Fellow of the American Occupational Therapy Association. Dr. Decker: 2014-2016 While transitioning as the Therapy Center Co-Owner and Director of a group of private practices in Europe to the United States, he had the opportunity to join the Occupational Therapy Entry Level Doctoral Pro- gram at Nova Southeastern University in Tampa as a faculty member. He envisioned this role as having a close relationship with students and men- toring future clinicians. He began supporting the extensive fieldwork requirements of the program and explored teaching and assisting in teaching different courses. He con- solidated his role as a faculty member, taking on the role of Director of Clinical Education and Academic Fieldwork Coordinator for the program. In this capacity, Dr. Decker is responsible for placing all students in both level I and level II fieldwork rotations, both nationally and international- ly. He serves on several internal committees to support the Occupation- al Therapy Program at Nova Southeastern University (NSU-Tampa). He has also served as the Special Interest Section Committee Chairperson in Sensory Integration for the Florida Occupational Therapy Association (FOTA) from 2014-2016.
