Both provide opportunities for service, interprofessional collaboration, and professional development. STUDENT OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSOCIATION A group that seeks to instill the values of our profession in students through advocacy, professional development, philanthropy, and education of people and populations within occupational therapy and other health professions disciplines. PI THETA EPSILON A specialized honor society for occupational therapy students and alumni that recognizes and encourages superior scholarship among students enrolled in professional, entry-level programs at accredited educational programs across the U.S. It advances the devel- opment of occupational sciences and the practice of authentic occupational therapy by promoting research and other scholarly activities by its members. In this way, the organization serves not only the profession, but helps to ensure quality health care services for the general public.
