The segment, which aired on May 5, featured Finberg, who is training a guide dog, Thresa, on campus while attending classes. Student Segment Class of 2018 students Samuel Petro and Kristin Barnes attended the sixth annual Private Practice SOLutioN (Student Optometric Leadership Network) Conference in Denver, Colorado, June 9–12, 2016. The national conference helps leaders from each optometry school’s private practice club learn how to enhance their club’s activities.
