COLLEGE OF OPTOMETRY • 29 Relay for Life Plantation Linda S. Rouse, O.D., FAAO, assistant dean of finance and operations and chief operations officer of The Eye Care Institute, and Lori Vollmer, O.D., FAAO, associate professor and director of residency programs, led the NSUCO team, called VisualEyes a Cure, on April 24 at Plantation Central Park at the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life event in honor of coworker Christine Williams and fourth- year student Tiffany Lin. The team motto was “Let’s VisualEyes the future—without cancer!” The team surpassed its goal and raised more than $3,500.
