WOMEN’S SWIMMING • F or the third straight year, the NSU Women’s Swimming team won the NCAA Division II National Championship—a dynasty in the making. • D own by two points heading into the final event, the Sharks roared back to win the 400 Freestyle Relay, breaking NSU and SSC records and clinching the national title. • T hree individual national titles and a host of standout swimmers led the charge, including Kristina Orban and Emilia Ronningdal. • U nder Head Coach Ben Hewitt, the Sharks have built a powerhouse—proving they own the water at the national level. MEN’S BASKETBALL • T he NSU Men’s Basketball team won the NCAA DII National Championship, defeating Cal State Dominguez Hills 74-73 in a heart-pounding rematch. One year after a buzzer-beater heart- breaker, the Sharks completed their comeback story in epic fashion. • M J Iraldi was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player, dropping 27 points to lead the charge and clinch the title. • H ead Coach Jim Crutchfield led the team to its second national title in men’s basketball—and the 15th overall for NSU Athletics. • N SU finished 36-1 for the season, ended on a 23-game win streak, and earned the most wins in NCAA Men’s Basketball this season. 2025 NCAA® DIVISION II NATIONAL CHAMPIONS Support Our Sharks.
