CONCENTRATIONS • Executive Nurse Leadership • Nursing Education • Nursing Informatics Admission to the B.S.N. to D.N.P. program requires 1. a bachelor’s degree in nursing from a regionally accredited college or university (The B.S.N. degree program must be accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing [ACEN], by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education [CCNE], or by the Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation [CNEA].) 2. an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in the candidate’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) 3. a current, unrestricted, United States R.N. license in the student’s state of residence (The license must remain current throughout the program.) 4. two reference letters 5. a writing sample submitted directly to NursingCAS, using APA 7th edition formatting that includes the following information: • discussion of a problem or issue you see in practice today that needs to be addressed • discussion of your personal and professional goals 6. a curriculum vitae
