10 | Athletic Training APPLICATION PROCEDURES 1. Apply to ATCAS. NSU’s Master of Science in Athletic Training program participates in the Athletic Training Centralized Application Service (ATCAS). • All applicants are directed to apply at caate.net/apply-now . • The deadline to submit application materials to ATCAS is February 1. 2. Submit the following required documents to the ATCAS website • a résumé or curriculum vitae • a personal statement of professional and education goals • three letters of recommendation • evidence of 50 hours of observational experience with a certified athletic trainer Applicants must use NSU’s M.S.A.T. Observational Experience Form • official transcripts from all colleges and universities that include prerequisite courses Coursework taken at foreign institutions must be evaluated for U.S. institution equiva- lence by an approved National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) organization, such as one of the services listed following.
