31 ATHLETICS, WELLNESS, AND WELL-ROUNDEDNESS The Noël P. Brown Sports Center facilities provide space for play, sports, and fitness that touch every student, while also providing offices for Special Olympics Broward County. The WOLF and Auto- Nation athletic fields, a joint-use Olympic-sized pool for swimming and diving, and a multitude of outdoor spaces for playing, eating, collaborating, and relaxing complete the footprint. Welcoming library spaces, such as the Quadraicci library in our Lower School, offer opportunities to relax, study, and be inspired. The Mako Prize Tournament prompts USchool community members to read and vote for their favorite fiction titles. The twist is that all options were recently published, so readers can discover works they may not have found on their own. The Upper School tournament brackets start with a list of 32 titles. The Middle School bracket starts with a list of 16 titles. Students, teachers, staff members, and parents can judge as many rounds as they wish. During each round, readers of both books determine the basis on which one wins that match and advances to the next. The winners are revealed at a parent- student book club breakfast.
