Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine is dedicated to equitable and inclusive student-centered osteopathic medical education to produce exemplary osteopathic physicians known for competent and compassionate care. Program Goals Goal 1: To recruit high-quality students and graduate osteopathic physicians who are committed to providing competent and compassionate care; who are qualified and prepared to enter into a broad range of medical specialties; who are committed to preserving the history, philosophy, art, and science of osteopathic medicine; and who are able to work in a diverse, inclusive, and interprofessional environment. Goal 2: To ensure that the KPCOM is able to deliver a quality osteopathic medical education curriculum by recruiting and maintaining a diverse and inclusive cohort of faculty and staff members through career advancement opportunities; by providing support for scholarly activity, research, teaching, and patient care; and by providing a positive work environment that embodies respect for personal and professional well-being.
