Curriculum Overview The Doctor of Philosophy in Physical Therapy (Ph.D.) degree program is taught in a distance/hybrid education format. Sixty semester hours are required beyond the entry-level master’s or doctoral degree in physical therapy or beyond an advanced master’s degree (in which the undergraduate or master’s degree was in physical therapy).
