Dr. Pallavi Patel College of Health Care Sciences—Department of Health Science 341 Graduate Certificate in Telehealth The Graduate Certificate in Telehealth is designed to provide clinical and administrative health professionals with the theoretical and practical training necessary to enhance career mobility and professional advancement. The certificate program offers a concentration in essential areas of telehealth using existing coursework for those who do not need, or desire, a primary or secondary doctorate to achieve their career goals. The program will target different audiences—those who already have completed a master’s degree, but do not want to pursue a doctoral degree, as well as those who already have a doctorate degree and desire a certificate program to progress in their career field. Courses are offered once per year, and it will take approximately one year to complete the program. This concentration emphasizes the basics of telehealth, the importance of interprofessional collaboration, the roles of different health care providers, and the technology needed for successful telehealth implementation.
