Dr. Pallavi Patel College of Health Care Sciences—Department of Speech-Language Pathology 271 Applicants that are in the process of completing their CF during the admissions cycle will be considered; however, these applicants, if accepted, will be under the provision that they must obtain the CCC-SLP or equivalent credential during the first semester of enrollment in the program. International applicants practicing in countries included in the Agreement for the Mutual Recognition of Professional Association Credentials 2022 with ASHA will be considered for admission on a case-by-case basis. Tuition and Fees Doctor of Speech-Language Pathology tuition for 2024–2025 (subject to change by the board of trustees without notice) will be posted on our website (nova.edu/bursar/billing/tuition -fees.html). An NSU Student Services Fee of $1,800 is required annually. Also, a Dr. Pallavi Patel College of Health Care Sciences General Access Fee of $145 is required each year. Acceptance and Preregistration Deposit—$500. This deposit is required to reserve the accepted applicant’s place in the entering, first-year class. This deposit will be deducted from the tuition payment due on registration day, but is not refundable in the event of a withdrawal. It is due within three weeks of an applicant’s acceptance. Additional Program Expenses Doctoral candidates will be responsible for the purchase of textbooks and for the cost of travel to classes during the research institute, as well as for other needs typically associated with advanced study. Material fees may be charged as necessary. If a student relocates, it is the student’s financial responsibility to reestablish Integrated Service Digital Network (ISDN) lines.
