CEME • PAGE 2 On behalf of the Consortium for Excellence in Medical Education (CEME), the OPTI affiliated with Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, welcome to our electronic brochure. We are excited to provide up-to-date information on the wonderful training opportunities available to you within the OPTI. Our training programs offer a variety of settings and specialties from which to choose. Re- gardless of what your career goals are, there is a CEME program to meet your needs. The CEME was established in January 1999 to increase opportunities for postgraduate medical training, internships, residencies, fellowships, and continuing education. The CEME is an alliance of clinical sites linked through electronic networks offering teaching, research, and 21 community health collaborations combined with a shared commitment to excellence in the education of tomorrow’s physicians. The Con- sortium for Excellence in Medical Education is dedicated to the education of knowledgeable, highly skilled, and compassionate physicians capable of providing medical care of the highest quality using the latest clinical techniques and treatment procedures.
