CEME • PAGE 19 Miami Children’s Hospital POSTDOCTORAL PROGRAMS Residencies • Pediatrics The three-year residency training programming in pediatrics is affiliated with Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine (NSU-COM) and the Consortium for Excellence in Medical Education (CEME). Fully accredited by the AOA and American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians, Miami Children’s Hospital has dually accredited pediatric residency programs (allopathic and osteopathic). Participation is limited to four osteopathic-track residents per year and 24 allopathic-track residents per year. MCH features more than 650 attending physicians, including a hospitalist service and over 130 pediatric subspecialists. MCH residents have consistently scored highly on the American Board of Pediatrics Certifying Exam, with board passing rates in the last several years of up to 95 percent and a 100 pass rate on the osteopathic pediatric board exams.
