30 | Dental Medicine POSTDOCTORAL PROGRAMS ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS NSU-CDM selects students based on • application content • academic record • letters of recommendation • personal interview Most of our programs utilize the PASS application process, with the exception of end- odontics. An NSU College of Dental Medicine application for postdoctoral students is required for all specialties. Please refer to the program-specific requirements located online at dental.nova.edu . Prior to matriculation, applicants must have completed a D.M.D., D.D.S., or equivalent degree. The applicant must send, or arrange to have sent, the following to NSU EPS at the address on the next page: 1. the completed NSU College of Dental Medicine application for postdoctoral students (Applicants accepted to the postdoctoral operative dentistry, the postdoctoral orthodontics, and dentofacial orthopedics programs must also complete and submit an NSU application for the dentistry Master of Science Program.) 2. a nonrefundable application fee of $50 3. an official transcript from each college, professional school, or university attended (The final transcript from the college or school of dental medicine must certify com- pletion of the dental degree.) Coursework taken at foreign institutions must be evaluated for U.S. institution equiva- lence by an approved National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) organization, such as one of the services listed below. It is the applicant’s responsibility to have this coursework evaluated. An official course-by-course evaluation with a cumulative grade point average must be sent directly from the evaluation service to NSU’s Enrollment Processing Services. World Education Services, Inc.
