College of Dental Medicine (CDM)—Predoctoral Program 2025–2026 133 • Two or more unexcused absences to clinic rotation sessions or laboratory courses—Missing clinic rotations or laboratory sessions based on unexcused absences is considered unprofessional behavior and will be addressed in the following manner. A written report of the student’s behavior will be completed by the course director and reviewed with the student in the presence of the department chair or designee. This will result in referral to the SPC and may result in further disciplinary action. In addition, for courses graded numerically, the student will receive a failing grade of F with a maximum grade of C(E) if the student passes the failed course after successful remediation. For clinic rotation courses or laboratory courses graded on a Pass/Fail basis, and for these courses graded on the alpha letter grade basis, the student will receive a failing course grade of F, with a maximum grade of RP or C(E), respectively, if the student passes the failed course after successful remediation. • The remediation assignment will be determined by the course director. iv.
