F. Extracurricular Student Activities 1. Student Activity Groups NSU CDM’s assistant dean of Admissions, Student Affairs and Services must approve all extracurricular student activities and recognized on- and off-campus student organizations. All activities and events must be appropriately scheduled to avoid conflicts. Requests for permission to obtain the services of speakers for various functions, student meetings, and other on-campus activities should be made at least two weeks in advance on forms provided by the college’s Office of Student Services. Activities must be approved by the Office of Student Services before a room can be assigned, and no meeting announcements may be made until such approval is received. 2. Student Organizations Students may participate in a variety of organizations, which are listed below. CDM Student Government Association (SGA) All members of the CDM’s student body are enrolled in this student government, which serves as the student body’s governmental assembly. This organization collects and expresses student opinion and also functions as a conduit for interaction between the college’s student body, the faculty members, and the administration.
