APPLY NOW | You Are Ready! Applying for admission to NSU Law is easy. Create an account at LSAC.org and register for the LSAT. While there, sign up for the Credential Assembly Service (CAS). Then, use your LSAC account to apply for admission to NSU Law. You are not charged an application fee. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS • your completed and electronically signed J.D. application using the LSAC Electronic Application Service • an LSAC CAS report of your transcripts and LSAT scores • your personal statement sharing your interest in, and preparation for, study at NSU Law • your résumé, listing relevant experience and achievements • two letters of recommendation (we will accept up to three), one of which must be academic, if you are currently in school or have graduated within a year FINANCIAL AID AND SCHOLARSHIPS Need-based financial aid, in the form of federal student loans, are awarded based on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Merit scholarships for 1L (first-year) students are awarded at the time of admission, based on your LSAT score and GPA results from your undergraduate degree. Awards range from $2,500 to $36,000 and are conditionally renewable. During the academic year, you are also given the opportunity to apply for donor awards that are publicized by the Shepard Broad College of Law Scholarship Committee. Free Internet search engines, such as fastweb.com , offer the richest source of scholarship funding for any law student. You are encouraged to begin such searches early.
