Neuropsychology is involved in the assessment of cognitive, emotional and behavioral functions with a medical population referred from out internal team of exceptional neurologists with multi specialties in epilepsy, neurodegenerative diseases, stroke, movement disorders, neuro-immunology, headaches and concussion, and neuro-oncology. Neuropsychological findings will determine neurocognitive strengths and weakness, baseline functioning, and/or candidacy for neurosurgery especially for epilepsy. The candidate will be able to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of neurologists, neurosurgeons, and neuroradiologists. Didactic and academic opportunities available include neurology and neurosurgical grand rounds, group supervision, participation in case conferences, shadowing of neurosurgical procedures and neurodiagnostic assessments such as electrophysiological studies, brain mappings, and WADAs. ✔ 10-20 hours Mandatory Training Sessions: As mandated by MHS.
