Practicum students interact with children and caregivers to directly deliver intervention support within a small individualized group setting. 2) Within the Mailman Segal Center's Family Center Preschool and Infant Toddler Program, consultation is provided to families, teachers, aides, and administrative staff regarding in-class behavior, emotional regulation, development, and adult/child interaction through the center’s Child Study program. Here, practicum students also conduct classroom observations, provide social skills training in small groups, develop and implement positive behavior supports, and provide in-classroom coaching of social problem solving. 3)The Unicorn Foundation Children’s Clinic houses two intervention programs utilizing applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques. These include: 1) Feeding Disorders Clinic aimed at improving the mealtime behaviors for children restricting the volume and/or variety of food 2) Challenging Behavior Clinic working to decrease problem behaviors that impede children from integrating socially with peers and family.
