The population is comprised of individuals from a wide variety of geographic, socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Psychology services are provided under three major programmatic divisions, the Mental Health Services Program, the Forensics Studies Program and the Drug and Alcohol Treatment Program. These programs provide an opportunity for trainees to gain experience in intake screening and differential diagnoses, crisis intervention, suicide prevention, brief adjustment counseling, chronic case management, forensic background studies, psychological assessments, case conceptualization, report composition, and court presentation. ✔ 2nd year: 15-18 hours, EL year: 16 hours Mandatory Training Sessions: Required Training Prerequisistes: Knowledge of adult psychopathology and DSM-IV diagnoses. Neuropsychology screenings available for those interested in the Forensics Studies Program. Supervision Requirements (e.g., individual, group, time, day): One primary supervisor and 4 auxiliary supervisors per student for a total of 2 hours per week of supervision.
