On February 13, Nova Southeastern University broke ground
on its revolutionary Center for Collaborative Research, which
will house an IBM supercomputer, one of Florida’s largest wet
labs, and some of the world’s most accomplished researchers.

The Nova Southeastern University that exists today, which
includes a 314-acre main campus and comprises nearly 27,000
students as well as more than 162,000 alumni, is something
its founders never could have conceived when it was initially
chartered on December 4, 1964.

anniversary, it would be easy to overlook an important numerical
milestone related to the College of Osteopathic Medicine, which
is celebrating its 35
th
anniversary this year.

Over the past 15 years, NSU-COM has built reciprocal
relationships with federal governments, health care facilities,
and nongovernmental agencies abroad to facilitate global
learning opportunities for its students.
