2 | Master of Biomedical Sciences INTRODUCTION REALIZE YOUR VISION FOR THE FUTURE The College of Medical Sciences joins the colleges of osteopathic medicine, pharmacy, optometry, health care sciences, dental medicine, nursing, and allopathic medicine as part of a transdisciplinary approach to medical education. Through NSU’s Health Profes- sions Division, students have an opportunity to integrate across the disciplines and understand how their professions relate to society. The Master of Biomedical Sciences (M.B.S.) is a program that allows students to demonstrate that they can be successful in NSU’s • Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine • College of Dental Medicine Students are trained in human biology and medicine to improve their academic creden- tials in order to be considered for admission to our professional schools. Those enrolled in this degree program take basic science courses, along with current dental and osteo- pathic medicine students.
