The certification process for anesthesiologist assistants includes an initial certifying examination, ongoing registration of continuing medical education, and interval examinations for continued demonstration of qualifications through the National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA). Department of Audiology The Audiology Department is dually accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Audiology Education (ACAE) and the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Graduates will have completed the academic and clinical requirements necessary to be eligible to apply for a license as an audiologist and will have the option of a clinical placement that will make them eligible to pursue board certification in audiology from the American Board of Audiology, and the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Department of Cardiopulmonary Sciences Nova Southeastern University Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy First-Professional Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC). Our CoARC Program Reference # is 200615. The Program is not accredited in polysomnography.
