The NSCA, as the world wide authority on strength and conditioning, supports and disseminates research-based knowledge and practical application to improve athletic performance and fitness. Academic Calendar The Department of Health and Human Performance adheres to an academic calendar that starts in the summer term of the respective academic year, and continues through the end of the school year with dates mandated by the academic calendars for Undergraduate Students. nova.edu/registrar/academic-calendars Academic Progression The progress of each student through the curriculum requires satisfactory academic performance. Each prerequisite course must be completed in sequence as outlined by the Nova Southeastern Undergraduate Catalog . All students must complete the general education coursework, major requirements, and electives for graduation eligibility. Grading Policies Each course will have specific requirements listed for grade completion in the course syllabus. The final grade submission will be based on the alpha scale below.
