1 NSU CAHSS Dialogues Greetings CAHSS Sharks, Welcome to the winter 2018 edition of Dialogues and the second issue touting a new look. Our biannual newsletter has been expanding, and has spread its wings to become a magazine! Gone are the updates touted only by words. Now, articles have more graphics to bring the reader a more engaging experience. If you couldn’t be at the events with us, through our depictions, we want to relive the experience with you. To help us make your Dialogues magazine more informative and attractive, CAHSS Graduate SGA has brought professional help on A message from the Dialogues Editor/Graduate SGA Secretary board—NSU’s Office of Publications, with its team of highly experienced communications professionals. We’ve also updated the name to the more acceptable and popular spelling (and its original moniker). We Need Your Help Now, we need your help to continue to make this CAHSS publication an informative keepsake of each semester’s happenings. Departments, we need your submissions. Tell us about your achievements, what’s new, and what’s on the horizon. Readers, send us your thoughts and suggestions. Most of all, share Dialogues with your coworkers and classmates. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this edition as we highlight a semester filled with achievements and events. Revisit the CommunityFest with us; take in the Interdeparmental Symposium and Winter Social; walk with our students at the March for Our Lives rally in Washington, D.C.; and celebrate with our Student Life Achievement Awards finalists. As I finish up my two-year stint getting my M.A. in Composition, Rhetoric, and Digital Media, and my year on the executive board of the CAHSS Graduate SGA, I must say this has been an enlightening, energizing experience.
