Nova Southeastern University | 9 COURSE OF STUDY NSU’s Doctor of Audiology degree is awarded after successful completion of four years of professional study. Clinical involvement steadily increases throughout the program as students prepare for direct patient care at our university audiology clinic and at locations throughout the community. The fourth year is designed to be a full-time clinical externship work experi- ence that prepares the student to enter the profession at graduation. Successful completion of the Doctor of Audiology program, coupled with a passing score on the National Praxis Examination for audiology, will enable graduates to be licensed and eligible for certification. Did You Know? Students are given clinical assignments and experiences starting in the first year.
