Department of Sonography The Cardiovascular Sonography Program at the NSU Tampa Bay Regional Campus is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Joint Review Committee on Education in Cardiovascular Technology (JRC-CVT). The Cardiovascular Sonography Program meets the educational degree completion requirements for licensure and/or professional registration in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. protectorates, as defined in 34 CFR §600.2. Graduates are eligible to apply for the national registry examinations in both Adult Echocardiography and Vascular Technology as offered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), and/or the corresponding credentials offered by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). The Medical Sonography Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org).
