BILLS AND PAYMENTS. The Bursar’s Office is your main point of contact for payment of your tuition, housing (if applicable), and fees. The Bursar’s Office also issues refunds to students from any financial aid fund overages. BILLING FOR TUITION AND HOUSING E-billing is the official means of generating and delivering billing statements to all NSU students. NSU ebills are generated around the middle of every month. AUTHORIZED USERS AND THE AUTHORIZATION FOR RELEASE OF INFORMATION FORM NSU eBill allows students to authorize others - such as parents, guardians, or sponsors - to view their accounts and pay their bills. To authorize a user, once logged in to NSU eBill, students may select the “Authorized Users” link from the “My Profile” menu. The student will then be prompted to type the email address of the authorized user. Once the new user’s email address has been submitted and the electronic authorization has been signed, the authorized user will receive an automated message with login instructions. Students may set up as many authorized users as desired. If a parent, guardian, or other person will be making payments on the student’s behalf as an authorized user, NSU requires the student to submit a completed Authorization for Release of Information Form (ROI) for the authorized person. The student must indicate on the ROI form to grant access to financial aid and student account information. Without a signed ROI on file, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) prohibits university representatives from discussing the student’s account, even with a person who has been set up as an authorized person in NSU eBill. Access to other information on the ROI is at the student’s discretion. When a student adds an authorized user to his or her account, the student may determine the level of access the authorized user will have. Students may allow authorized users to see billing statements only, payment history only, or both. Access the ROI Form at nova.edu/registrar/forms/release_of_information.pdf . PAYMENT PLANS NSU offers several monthly payment plan options for families to choose from. Learn more about your options and register for a payment plan at nova.edu/paymentplans .
