PARKING PERMIT REGISTRATION. First-year and transfer students are allowed to have a registered vehicle on campus. NSU’s Public Safety Department is introducing a new parking permit system before the start of the year. Once it’s live, you will simply register your vehicle online. Once classes start, you will pick up your NSU Parking Permit decal at the One-Stop Shop located in the Horvitz Administration Building. Read more about NSU Public Safety parking policies at nova.edu/publicsafety . CAMPUS DINING AT NSU. Resident and commuter students, alike, enjoy a variety of healthy dining options around campus. Meal plans are offered as a declining balance, which provides you flexibility to enjoy a meal or a snack when and where it’s convenient for you. The main dining area in the University Center offers an all-you-care- to-eat variety of cuisine with vegetarian and vegan options offered daily. For snacks or something different, you can use your declining balance at the Starbucks, Outtakes Convenience Store, Flight Deck Pub, Einstein Bros. Bagels, and West End Ave Deli found throughout campus. You can also use your declining balance at the HPD Café located in the Terry Building on the Health Professions Division side of campus. Please note that dining may be altered to accommodate COVID-19 safety procedures. Find dining locations, hours, and more updates at dineoncampus.com/nsu . NSU ID — SHARKCARD. The SharkCard is your official NSU identification card and is used for the following: identification, meal plans, gym/pool & RecPlex access, building access, parking area access, library privileges, vending machines, and photocopy services. Once you have registered for your classes, you may apply for your SharkCard online at nova.edu/nsucard/apply . Click on the “LOGIN” button to begin the application process. Follow the photo instructions carefully. You can wait to take your photo in person, if you prefer. If you submit all your information with your photo as instructed, you should receive your SharkCard in the mail within one week from receipt of your request. If you do not receive your NSU ID within this time, contact SharkCard Services at (954) 262-8929 or email nsucard@nova.edu . iSHARK MOBILE APPLICATION. Download this helpful app to your phone from your app store – IOS or Android. You can connect with fellow students, see the Shark Shuttle schedule, find dining options and schedules and learn about events on campus.
