DIRECT DEPOSIT FOR STUDENT REFUNDS Direct deposit is a quick and safe way to receive a financial aid refund directly to your personal checking account. To set up direct deposit, please download theDirect Deposit Authorization Form, follow the instructions to complete and submit it to the Bursar’s Office. You will find the link to the form at nova.edu/bursar/refunds/direct_delivery . FLORIDA PRE-PAID AUTHORIZATION FORM If you intend to utilize any monies from the Florida Prepaid College Plan towards tuition, fees and costs for on-campus housing at NSU, you must complete the Billing Request Form found at nova.edu/bursar/forms . SUBMITTING OUTSIDE SCHOLARSHIPS AND FINANCIAL GUARANTEE LETTERS Authorization letters and vouchers issued by a third party as a guarantee for payment of tuition, and fees, etc. may be directed to the Bursar’s Office for billing purposes. This includes any external scholarship you may receive. The authorization letters and/or vouchers may be submitted to the One- Stop Shop, located in the Horvitz and Terry Administration Buildings, by fax to (954) 262-2473 or by email to bursar@nova.edu . Please note that the authorization letter and/or voucher must identify the student, semester/term to be billed, and instructions for billing the entity. BOOKSTORE ADVANCED PURCHASE PROGRAM The Bookstore Advance Purchase Program (BAPP) allows financial aid recipients to use approved financial aid funds in excess of the charges on their student account to purchase books and supplies from the NSU Bookstore before their scheduled disbursement date. A student must be registered and meet BAPP eligibility requirements. For questions regarding BAPP, visit nova.edu/bapp . FINANCIAL GAP COUNSELING If your cost of attending Nova Southeastern University is higher than the financial aid currently offered to you, this is referred to as a “gap” in your student account balance. If you have been offered the maximum financial aid available and you have a “gap” [balance] remaining, please contact Enrollment and Student Services (ESS) to discuss additional financial planning options.
