As the assistant marketing strategy account leader, Mercedes Lardizabal contributes to the development and manages the execution of marketing strategies, communications initiatives, and go-to-market plans that drive enrollment, fundraising, visibility, and the reputation of NSU in the areas of Undergraduate Admissions, Student Affairs, and Campus Life.Prior to joining the PR & Marketing team, Lardizabal served as the assistant director of administrative services and marketing for the Division of Student Affairs and College of Undergraduate Studies, which she joined in 2014. In that role, she produced dozens of creative and promotional projects, weekly, for NSU's offices and student organizations. Earlier in her career, Lardizabal spent a number of years as a marketing assistant at the Alvin Sherman Library, Research, and Information Technology Center. She was also a graduate assistant at St. Thomas University.
Lardizabal is an NSU alumna NSU alumna, who received her B.A. in Communications Studies in 2009. She also holds a master’s degree in Communications Arts from St. Thomas University. As a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts and the American Marketing Association, Lardizabal prides herself on being a marketing professional who can not only plan a campaign, but also write and design for it.
