Overview

The purpose of the Infrastructure and Collaboration Services Department is to provide the University's faculty and staff with the technological resources to:

  • Support and complement teaching, learning, and research regardless of geographic location.
  • Maintain a leadership role in instructional technology by providing quality services that facilitate, enhance and support the goals and objectives of a diverse university community.
  • Provide and support a strong student-centered administrative system.

The Infrastructure and Collaboration Services Department is responsible for design, development and comprehensive support of centralized support systems. Our technical services staff is trained to assist faculty and staff in most technical aspects. The goal is to provide a smooth and reliable experience.

  • Support and maintenance of mail messaging software and hardware
  • Support and maintenance of instant messaging software and hardware
  • Support and maintenance of all Office 365 application
  • Support and maintenance of Identity Management

ICS manages messaging infrastructure and components, to provide an end-to-end solution for NSU’s collaboration environment. ICS manages from strategy and design to transition, operations and continual improvement. We ensure your messaging service is safe, responsive and available with industry-leading tools and IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL)-aligned processes and methodologies.
