The two-day standard course for CPO® certification includes 14-16 hours of classroom instruction covering all 18 chapters in the latest edition of the NSPF® Pool and Spa Operator™ handbook (will receive at the beginning of class). Students will gain knowledge, techniques, and skills to safely operate public pools and spas. Topics include water testing, filtration, treatment, maintenance, automatic feeding equipment, and local state codes. In addition, the Pool Math™ workbook will be given to students to use as an extra resource guide for practice calculation problems. Certification will be awarded to students that successfully pass the open book examination on day 2 of class with a minimum score of 75%.
A government issued photo ID MUST be presented to complete the exam.
