What are modules
Modules allow instructors to organize content to help control the flow of the course.
At its core, modules create a one-directional linear flow of what students should do in the course. This can be presented to students as weeks, units or any other organizational structure preferred by the professor.
Each module can contain files, discussions, assignments, quizzes or any other learning material. Modules can be easily organized using the drag and drop feature as can the elements found within the modules also be reorganized by dragging and dropping.
Note: Keyboard shortcuts can be used to navigate the Modules page. Simply pressing the comma key will trigger a pop-up window displaying the keyboard shortcuts that can be used for navigation.
How to Add a Module
From the course Navigation, click the Modules link.
Click the Add a module button.
Type a name in the Module Name field.
Click the Add module button to finalize this step.
