Enhance Your Course with eLearning Tools

Issue Date: 01-12-2018

Hands

The Instructional Design team would like to partner with instructors to create interactive course content that enhances the student learning experience here at NSU. We have a variety of eLearning tools that can be used to improve student interaction with content in your online courses. We have access to tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, SoftChalk, and iSpring. Lessons created using these tools can be published as web pages, or can be uploaded into a Learning Management System (LMS) such as Blackboard or Canvas.

These tools allow us to:

  • Transforming PowerPoint presentations into interactive eLearning content
  • Engage learners with interactivity and multimedia (audio images, videos, and simulations)
  • Create Scenario-Based Learning
  • Assess learner performance (track learner interactivity with content, and interactive quizzes)
  • Create mobile friendly content

Consider adding interactive learning activities into your online or hybrid courses. If you would like to partner with an instructional designer to create or redesign your lecture materials submit a ticket here.
