Instructors can create groups for students to collaborate on group assignments, pages, collaborations, and more. Instructors can also allow students to create their own groups.
To create groups begin by clicking on People in the Course Navigation:
Click the Add Group Set button:
OPTION 1: Create Multiple Groups
1. Enter the name of the Group Set.
2. Choose the Self Sign-Up option if you wish students to self-assign to the groups
3. Choose number of groups to create.
4. Choose this option if you wish to assign a student group leader. Either choose first student as group leader or a random student.
5. Click SAVE.
OPTION 2: Create Groups Manually
If you choose to create groups manually, you will need to create individual groups within that group set.
