With the growing number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the United States, it is imperative that NSU be vigilant in its efforts to ensure we provide appropriate care and a safer environment for our students and employees.
Please utilize self-assessment criteria prior to arriving at any NSU facility as outlined by the CDC at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/symptoms-testing/symptoms.html.
Visitors are not permitted at any NSU location if experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms, including fever or chills, coughing, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, sore throat, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting or diarrhea.
Do not visit NSU if you recently had known contact with an individual ill with COVID-19.
If making a site visit:
Note: at this time, temperature screening is required at our NSU Health Clinics and College of Dental Medicine only.
Vendors are expected to educate their staff on the importance of following the CDC recommended guidelines handwashing and prevention. NSU makes our sinks fully accessible for good hand hygiene and requests that visitors wash hands frequently.
If after visiting NSU, you test positive for COVID-19, we ask that you please update us at COVIDcase@nova.edu so that we can make others aware of their possible exposure.
