Christina Hernandez

Christina joined the Office of Career Development in May 2020 as an Experiential Education and Learning (ExEL) Career Advisor. A South Florida native, she is passionate about actualizing students' professional and personal development.

Christina graduated from the University of Florida in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Tourism, Event, and Recreation Management. She decided to continue her journey at the University of Florida where she earned her Master of Education in Student Personnel in Higher Education. Christina developed her passion for career services as a Graduate Practicum Student with UF's Career Connections Center where she worked on their Student Engagement team. During her graduate career, Christina also served as a Graduate Assistant for UF's College of Health and Human Performance and a NODA Intern for Virginia Tech's New Student and Family Programs. 

Christina is thrilled to be back in her hometown working with NSU's Career Development Office. As an ExEL Career Advisor, she is excited to have the opportunity to help students design a career that brings them meaning.
