Michelle Jalali is a Graduate Assistant for Special Events and Projects in the Office of Campus Life and Student Engagement. She is head of the CommunityFest planning committee and is also head of SA Operations. Graduating in December 2018, she values the opportunity to work with student organizations and play a role in the personal development of each student. She serves as the advisor of the Alpha Delta Tau Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega National Fraternity and Infinite Motion Dance Team.
Jalali is originally from Toronto, Canada and grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She graduated from the University of South Florida in Tampa, with a Bachelors in Public Relations and certification in Business. She was heavily involved during her undergraduate career. She is a proud member of the Kappa Iota Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, and a brother of the Tau Mu Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity.
Jalali currently resides in Sunrise, Florida and is working on her M.S in College Student Affairs at Nova Southeastern University. She enjoys spending time with her family and her puppy, Snoop Dogg. Her passions include music, community service, and dancing. She is always the first on the dance floor, and the last to leave! After completing her masters, she plans to pursue a job at a university and begin her PhD. She intends to be professor, Dr. Jalali by 2022.
