Christina Rajkumar has served as the Assistant Director of Special Events and Projects in the Office of Campus Life and Student Engagement since August of 2012. In her role as Assistant Director, she is responsible for a number of large scale events and projects under the Division of Student Affairs. Some of those include Laugh Your Fins Off Comedy Show, CommunityFest, Student Life Achievement Awards (STUEY’s), Sharks on the Scene (S.O.S.), Weekend Programming, Take Back the Night, Constitution Day, SA Operations, Fins Football, and President’s 64. Additionally, Christina participates in the Weeks of Welcome (WOW) and Homecoming committees.
Christina came to NSU from Barry University, where she served as the manager for conference and event services. She is a graduate of the University of Florida with two degrees, one in Linguistics and the other in recreation and event management. She is also a proud member of the Mu Epsilon Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated since the Fall of 1999.
In her free time, Christina enjoys planning social events, interior decorating, reading, jig saw puzzles, and shopping. Moreover, she most enjoys spending time with her friends and family at casual gatherings.
